Vyatta Certification

Vyatta has plans to offer a certification program to recognize individual mastery of Vyatta networking capabilities.

The program will include different levels, designed to meet the needs of end users and channel partners as well as enterprise and service provider network types.

The implementation involves three phases:

1)  Online Training Portal (Completed)

Vyatta has already implemented the Vyatta University Training Portal which will track individual training achievement.  Credit for all classes (both online and instructor-led) will be tracked in the portal.  

Watch for additional features of the training portal to be enabled as we progress in our development of the certification program.

2)  Curriculum Certificates

Vyatta is already working on curriculum-level certificates which recognize achievement in specific areas of knowledge. Look for more details in early 2010.

3)  Certification Testing

Development of comprehensive certification testing will be a focus in 2010.  Look for more information we make progress.

Remember that credit for all training is tracked in the training portal and will be credited toward future certification.
